Luzerner Stadtlauf

Today we ran the Lucerne Cityrun with Iina, Rasmus and Janic. We had terrific weather, 10 thousands of spectators and the beautiful background of the Four Forrest Lake, the Alps and the Old-Town in Lucerne.

We were in the family category with over 1.500 starters.

Egypt

On Thursday we came back from two sunny and beautiful weeks in Egypt. We were at the Mövenpick in El Gouna on the western Red Sea coast.

Sun, diving, food, sightseeing. It was great to relax and spend some time together without having to discuss or manage the progress on our house.

While diving we had a truly unique and fascenating encounter with a school of 12 - 14 dolphines. After one of our dives we saw them approach our boat and immediatly jumped in with our snorlkling gear. They let us follow them for 10 - 15 minutes and we came as close as 2 - 3 feet. Beautiful, graceful and very, very good swimmers... :-)

On the last day we went on a day excursion to the ruins at Karnak and the Valley of Kings in Luxor. You can see the photos here.

Pool

Endlich haben die Arbeiten am und um Pool angefangen. Der Splitbeton ist gelegt, der Zaun an der Grenze steht. Nächste Woche kommen die Platten, dann das Geländer und am Schluss ein schöner Holzboden - wir freuen uns sehr auf den Sommer!
