First visit to the pediatrician

Today Emma and dad went to the pediatrician to get Emma’s first scheduled health check. We were happily surprised as we found out that the doctor also speaks Swedish, her mom is from Gothenburg.

Everything was fine and Emma has grown quite a bit in her first five weeks. She is now 58 cm and 5.100 gr.

The rest of the day was a fathers day, Moni was on a day out with here working colleagues so Emma and I spent the day “home alone”.

BBQ with the three Buchers

This weekend finally had some nice weather, so we invited the three Buchers over for BBQ.

Great evening, Nico is doing great and it looks líke he will eventually dwarf his dad...

Pfingstweekend

Endlich scheint die Sonne wieder - das Weekend steht vor der Tür. Von mir aus hätte es zwar in den letzten vier Wochen Katzen hageln können. Morgens von Emmas Glucksen oder Weinen geweckt zu werden ist das schönste Gefühl - wir sind sehr verliebt in sie.

Im Moment auf dem Stepper und mit einer Hand shaking the Kinderwagen, damit beide Ladies zufrieden sind...es ist wunderbar Mami von Emma zu sein. Sie ist so ein zufriedenes, ausgeglichenes und natürlich wunderhübsches Baby.
